Dr Brera among the panelists in the latest podcast of 'La lingua batte'

Puntata speciale per la XXV Settimana della lingua italiana nel mondo

A special episode for the 25th Week of the Italian Language in the World, recorded at the Italian Cultural Institute of New York on October 21, 2025, on the theme “Italophony.” Hosted by Paolo Di Paolo with his guests and featuring live music by jazz singer Chiara Izzi.

The event is curated by Cristina Faloci and Manuel De Lucia, who also directed the evening.

On Thursday, November 6, at 8:30 p.m., Radio3 presents the return of “Serata ProGrammatica,” the annual La Lingua Batte event produced for the Week of the Italian Language in the World. This year’s edition is dedicated to Italophony and promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, incollaboration with the Accademia della Crusca and Treccani.

Organized in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute in New York and supported by Seton Hall University for the European project DaShoW of the University of Padua, the special evening, recorded in New York on October 21, features distinguished figures who work with the Italian language inthe United States: Italianists, cultural historians, editors, translators, filmmakers, teachers, and students from the Guglielmo Marconi Italian School of New York.

Guests: Matteo Brera, Antonella Cagnolati, Laura Caparrotti, Hermann W. Haller, Antonio Monda, Michael M. Moore, Ellen Nerenberg, Claudio Pagliara, Giampaolo Pioli, Gabriella Romani, and Silvia Tatti.

Live music performance by singer-songwriter and jazz artist Chiara Izzi.
